Wubaiyi Agarwood (伍佰艺沉香) is the brand and enterprise side: planting, research, processing and supply. The group operates agarwood plantations across Hainan, Guangdong, Yunnan, Fujian, Guangxi and Sichuan, with Hainan and Guangdong as its qinan industrial hubs.
Liu Jia Shang Se Chen Tan Jian Xiang (刘家上色沉檀拣香铺) is our Beijing store. The name is taken from an incense shop painted on a Song-dynasty market scroll, Along the River During the Qingming Festival by Zhang Zeduan — one of the earliest written records of an incense retailer in China. Our storefront design is registered as a national design patent.
Nearly 10,000 mu (≈660 hectares) of agarwood plantations. In the qinan hubs of Hainan and Guangdong, the group has built demonstration industrial parks — a planned investment of 150 million RMB in the Hainan demonstration zone.
Qinan (奇楠, kinam) is the most prized class of agarwood. Our "Qinan No.1" is propagated by cloning and tissue culture from the Jianfengling (Hainan) lineage, with clear mother-plant records and batch traceability. Mature single trees can yield up to 1,000 grams of resinous wood.
The Zhao family agarwood craft (辽北赵氏沉香制作技艺) is recognized as intangible cultural heritage. Liu Zhiqiang, founder of Wubaiyi, represents its fifth generation and supervises production by hand — grading, aging and blending included.
